Being a grown-up means eating cookie dough for dessert whenever you want! And when you fess up and admit you really just want the dough more than the cookies, you make egg-free dough. No salmonella for you!

Is this a really fancy way of saying your oven broke?
— CJA10 February, 2011 at 11:05 pm
Nope, C. Our 1948 oven is doing just fine. Are you telling me you don’t eat raw cookie dough? Or have come to doubt all the ‘modern’ conveniences of our house?

I disagree that the chocolate chips are (optional)!

My cookie habits have changed.. I don’t eat much dough. If fact even weirder, I don’t like cookies fresh out of the oven anymore when they are gooey. I let them cool until they are just warm and then attack. Werid huh.
I’d never doubt the vivacity of your ‘appliances’.. I mean 1948 is it coal fired..

I’m late to the conversation. I have to confess all my cookie dough is eaten when it’s on its way into the oven. Mostly licked off my fingers. I just made a lot of cookies for someone who suggested St. Patrick’s Day would be as good as Valentine’s Day!

Yay for St Patrick’s Day cookies!
