This is a sampling of our May flowers so far, with a bonus emerging asparagus spear.
By the way, at this point we can identify all but one of the plants in our “Signs of Spring” post for sure, now that they’re bigger. If you’re still curious, here’s what they were. Top row (left to right): sedum, daffodil, lilac (leaf buds), tulip. Bottom row: silver maple tree, iris, columbine, and we think hyacinth for the last one but it never flowered so we’re not sure.
As for the new ones above, there are three that we don’t know yet. We’ll see.

All of these came with the house! We did plant lots more strawberries (second to the right on the bottom) but this particular one was already here (our new ones aren’t flowering yet).
