I heart the USPS. We ship all our Little Alexander orders through them. There are three major reasons we choose them over other delivery options.

1. They pick up our packages from our mailbox everyday, just cause we live here.
2. We consider them the least environmentally harmful delivery system since they already run regular routes and therefore are not driving extra to deliver packages.
3. Stamps are like stickers. We love that our job includes stickers.

But recently, my love for the USPS, and in particular our rural route delivery person, has grown. I misestimated the weight of a package and didn’t put enough stamps on it. BUT, instead of getting the package returned from Omaha (our nearest processing) three days later I got this in my mailbox the next day —–>

A little envelope asking me for the 16 cents postage I owed. How pleasantly polite and speedy! I was smitten.
