There they are, the last of the Christmas orders, waiting for the mailman to pick them up.
We spent December frantically keeping up with orders. Not because we were flooded with orders exactly. (Although our shop topped 100 total orders, whoop!) Four in one day was a new record for us. Mostly it was frantic because we hadn’t known what to expect and were completely unprepared. We were making notebooks as the orders came in and gluing together envelopes in the morning before the mailman arrived. Hey, it was our first time, right?
Turns out that celebrating Thanksgiving as our big holiday works great with our business. It’s out of the way before the holiday shopping really picks up. Christmas is very low key for us so we didn’t feel like we were missing out on anything by being busy for most of December. And the shipping rush has ended with a few days to spare before our other favorite holidays, my birthday and New Year’s.

Great to hear about your business around this time of year. I can’t wait to see my order!
