I’ve been trying to give myself more time and freedom to draw and paint lately. Just to make more pictures, successful or not. However, it often leads to the dilemma of what to draw. So I’ve been making lists (oh, how I love making lists) and then illustrating them. Today it’s been Things That Fly (including things that flew and things that fall from the sky). Tomorrow I’ll paint them.

I can’t even draw those pictures either. I would really like a flying carpet right now. That’s the way I would like to travel!

I agree that the flying squirrel is great. I am surprised that bees are not included, but I suspect they get a special category at HQ.

Nicola – Who knows? Part of that freedom she’s giving herself is to draw and paint anything without thinking about if it has any potential to turn into something sellable.
