

After canning some pickles last year I learned two things. First, canning pickles is kind of a process. More so than canning, say, tomatoes. Second, I don’t eat pickles in the winter. So lesson learned, we don’t need to can any more pickles.
What I do like are fresh refrigerator pickles. Fast, easy, summertime goodness. I use the Lottie+Doof recipe, so head on over to that fantastic food blog to make your own.

Sara gave us her pickle recipe last summer and we loved them. So easy to do. I’m like you; I don’t really eat pickles in the winter.
